Went to London over the New Year. Stopped in the epicenter of transportation coolness, the Bond In Motion exhibit at the London Film Museum. Some photo love for ya here.

When did that autogyro get a BP sticker on it?

I would also wonder why it received a BP sticker. Did they sponsor the exhibit?

Another thought I had is that it may not be the actual autogyro from the movie. Still, that logo sticks out like a sore thumb.

Good question. If you look around the web you find a number of instances of the gyrocopter in flight. Those were likely sponsored events, and what’s more British to sponsor for the jet fuel arm of BP than a Bond aircraft. Agree that it does not look good on the fuselage. Was too high up for me to sneak over and set the universe right...clearly I’m not Bond enough.
